-Apparently Ryan Adams recorded a ton of crap for Elizabethtown, most of which didn’t get used; luckily, Captains Dead found it and posted it this week.

-One of the perks of living in New York is getting to see Eugene Mirman do his thing at UCB and the Bell House for free.  Fortunately, Sub Pop understands that some folks would rather live elsewhere and is releasing another album of Mirman goodness that I’m guessing will sell for about the price of a sandwich in NYC.

SNL recently added a couple more ladies to the cast.

-You can watch a short featurette on Wes Anderson’s upcoming Fantastic Mr. Fox on the Apple site.

-How many of Oxford American’s top ten Southern novels have you read?  I’m at 4.5, which is, admittedly, pretty weak.
